Founded in 1960, St. Francis Methodist School (SFMS) is Singapore's leading private academic school. The first Methodist School to be privatized, SFMS is a non profit making organization under the Methodist Church of Singapore.

As a pan-Asian institution with an international mix of staff and students, SFMS offers a holistic programme - Systematic English Teaching, IGCSE, in addition to the Lower Secondary and Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O & A' Levels. The St. Francis Academy, a division of SFMS, is the centre for pre-degree programmes offering the AUSMAT (Year 11 & 12), St.Francis Baccalaureate, and BTEC Higher National Diploma (Business).

SFMS is home to annual cohorts of 700-750 students, both local and foreign who hail from over 20 countries including China, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, Korea etc. We provide a unique, complete schooling experience - academic, co-curricular and spiritual, with counselling. Our class sizes are small, our teachers are student-centred, and our teaching methods are varied and innovative. Problem-based learning, Group Research projects, Creative Thinking and Out-of-Class lessons are examples of how we adopt innovative learning in education. We also integrate Performing Arts and Physical Education into the academic timetable to form the core curriculum.
