SFMS is the proud recipient of 6 prestigious awards – a first in the private education sector. In June 2003, we obtained the Singapore Quality Class for Private Education Organization, shortly followed by the ISO 9001:2000 in August 2003. We began the new academic year January 2004 with the People Developer award and ended the year with the Innovation Class award in November 2004. We attained the CaseTrust accreditation in March 2005 and the latest one added to the list was the BS7799 (Information Security) in July 2005.

Under the Student Protection Scheme administered by CaseTrust, Singapore’s national body championing the cause of the consumer, NTUC Income is the appointed insurer to offer insurance protection to international students studying in Singapore in Private Education Organisation. With this scheme, students’ fees are protected.

BS7799

The BS 7799 is given to companies which have put in place a system that ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of both vital corporate information and customer information. The areas covered under the BS7799 include a wide range of systems i.e. the IT and network database, business plans, financial data, staff and student’s information, assessment systems, academic results, as well as the physical security plan on site.
