COUNSELING

Counseling and pastoral care in St. Francis Methodist School is focused on developing each student’s potential so that they can give of their best academically in an environment where good character values are instilled in a caring and safe community.

Students are encouraged to approach teachers with issues regarding their subjects taught, or even issues faced in the classroom that they find uncomfortable with. Teachers are also encouraged to be vigilant and observant and to take the initiative to approach students who show any signs of uneasiness or disconnectedness from their academic work or school in general. For personal issues that students may be facing, they can approach the full-time school counselor or the Christian Ministry Staff [CMS] worker attached to the school for consultation with full confidentiality assured to  the student ( a.k.a. client).
