Alan Huang dedicated his passion to teaching not only the Arts but most importantly Creativity in St Francis Methodist School to mold these students into Singapore's next aspiring artistes. He graduated from two of the most prestigious Arts Colleges in Singapore, The Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) with a Graphic Design Diploma in 1998 and later at 2004 a Fashion Design Diploma from LaSalle-SIA College of the Arts with Distinction awarded.

Alan has worked as a full time Art teacher at Dunearn Secondary School and Commonwealth Secondary School. His students have won several national-wide awards. He has been invited to judge for countless children art competition since 1997 till present organized by both government and Private Organizations. Alan has undertaken several freelancing design projects which includes visual communication & visual merchandising. This multitasked individual has an extremely sharp eye for details, colors and composition. This puts him above his competitors especially with his expertise in media rendering like; water coloring, acrylic, airbrush painting, good computer skills and the list is on.

Alan has won many international awards since 1990. He have charmed his judges at the Singapore Young Designers Competition 2005 with his collection title; Voyage, Jewels of the Deep going up as the first runner up. He was voted top viewer choice and also the winner for two different Barbie doll Costume Creations. It was his Peranakan Rose in 2003 and Wedding by the Sunrise in 2005 who bagged the trophies. His other extracurricular activities include presenting/ exhibiting his graduation garments at Singapore Miss Universe 2005 and Beijing 2004 International Hair Competition in collaboration with Heritage Hair Salon.
