Holistic Education Beyond The Classroom! - Singapore Zoological Gardens (28th August 2006)
Sharing on Mathematics Trail by Yuichi Nishikori , Sec 1A

The sun was shining brightly as my classmates and I sat excitedly in the school bus.   All of us were anxious to reach the zoo as it was the first time visiting the Singapore Zoological Gardens for most of us.

We were given a handbook, a map and instructions for the trail from our trainer who was a young man.  The race to finish our trail had begun!  In the handbook, we were given around ten pages of brain-racking questions about Mathematics and were told to look at the signboards around the zoo for the answers.

Once we had completed our Mathematics Trail, we trudged back to the auditorium to meet up with our trainer. Everyone received a token and it was indeed an enjoyable and educational experience for all of us.
