Introduction

The Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (GCE ‘O’ Level) is a two-year programme that is internationally recognized and serves as an entry requirement for college, overseas university foundation and professional courses worldwide. Students enrolled in this programme have a distinct advantage as they will acquire a strong academic foundation that prepares them for higher-level education.

This programme is designed to equip ‘O’ Level students with a comprehensive set of skills that will enhance their future studies.

Focuses on:

1. Acquisition of knowledge on the chosen subjects, with constant emphasis on information that is relevant to the student’s career development, providing a strong foundation on which to pursue their college and tertiary education.

2. Drill and Practice approach to learning as the goal is to do well at the ‘O’ Level examinations. Teachers teach in a structured manner with use of notes, group work and technology.

Admission Requirement

To enter Secondary 3, students must have completed:
- Secondary 2 or equivalent with satisfactory results in home country or,
- GCE 'N' Level (Academic) with an aggregate score of more than 11 or,
- GCE 'N' Level (Technical) with an aggregate score of less than 13

Direct entry to Secondary 4, students must have completed:
- GCE 'N' Level (Academic) with an aggregate score of less than 12 or,
- Retaking 'O' Levels
