"Trash Talk" by Manisha Nayak, a sharing session on recycling waste
On 17th May, we invited Manisha Nayak, author of Mom’s Choice Awards Winner: “I’m a Future Scientist”, to share with our students and teachers the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling trash through interactive activities and educational videos.
The students were attentive and enthusiastic in answering the many questions asked. At the end of the session, our Academic Director presented Manisha with a gift of appreciation. Everyone was excited to check out the book fair and some of them even got their books autographed.
Manisha also expressed her overall positive experience at SFMS, “My experience at St Francis Methodist School was very positive. The students were interested in the topic and participative. The teachers were very warm and helpful. I wish the school the very best!”

Manisha Nayak has been working in an educational publishing for almost two decades, with a focus on writing, editing, and managing the publication of children’s science books and magazines. She has written more than 25 books for children, mostly about science.
