Over the last few months, our Year 6 students participated in Hort Park’s Nature Playgarden – a Wood Cookie Design and Painting Project which encourages community involvement in making a garden for children. Through the weekly art lessons and various consultations, the students brainstormed imaginative characters of their chosen plants, before eventually painting them on their Wood Cookies. Our students had lots of fun during the entire experience, and they were also awarded Letters of Appreciation certificate at the end of the project!
